The slow building of a book

What is SUBTLISM?

Subtlism is a living art project that explores the subtle inner landscape by listening to sounds, sensing shapes, and feeling the spirit at the center of being.

Artist + Author C. Rose is a mystery walker, navigating the uncertainty of life’s twists and turns, while seeking inner + outer balance, beauty, and freedom. As she deepens her mind, body, and spirit connection, she is discovering practices and pathways to The Art of the Everyday.

Through Subtlism, C. Rose finds grounded clarity. A soft, petaling structure of support is forming, guiding her through uncertainty. Subtlism is a living art project because the work is alive, the work is life.

Some questions Rose investigates through Subtlism:

  • What is a path that can bring more harmony to my life, and in turn, to those around me?

  • How can I truly know myself? And in turn, create Art of the Everyday that reflects my inner truth?

  • How can I see more clearly which direction is meant for me?

  • What would Spiritual Creativity
    look like?

  • How can I live aligned with the Great Center within and the Great Center without?

mystery walking

Subtlism was born in the darkness of the mystery. The shape formed piece by piece and continues to unfurl through a process of sketching, painting, and writing, while listening deeply and communing with Spirit in my Space of Center.

If you, too, are walking through the mystery of your becoming, I invite you to enter this book series that explores the living art project that is Subtlism. Section by section, month by month, Subtlism is shaping around me from within me.

I lovingly share this book-in-process, which is based on the living art project that is my way of being in the world, my way of seeing and becoming centered, in the hope that it may help and inspire you to attune, orient, and connect to your own space of center.
